The Carriage Shed History
The Carriage Shed is a family-owned and operated business. We love working with people from all over the country and developing designs that fit their needs. We enjoy being able to work with the Amish on these designs, from large to small and everything in between. The Amish have tremendous experience building any structure you desire.
The Carriage Shed began by designing traditional New England-style structures but have expanded considerably throughout the years. Now they sell their products across the United States. Barns and garages are their biggest sellers, but they are growing the sales of log-style homes that can be customized.
The Carriage Shed now also sells playground equipment, which Amy and Jenny oversee, and they keep that in the family too. As Jenny jokes, “My son does the playground inspections.” Greyson is a wonderful quality-of-fun inspector.
The “Here In Hanover Magazine” wanted to do an article on family business here in the Upper Valley, and they selected The Carriage Shed as one of the businesses.
