No matter how familiar you may be with construction, you may have many important questions. The only greenhouse that matters is the one built for you. Think of yourself as the foreman of the project. No one will be as interested in or live with the outcome as long as you.

Are these greenhouses delivered fully assembled or is it a kit?

Our Greenhouses are delivered fully assembled on your level site. All you need is a level hardpack site and access for our delivery truck to back your Greenhouse into the perfect place for you to begin your plant journey!

What are automatic roof vents?

Automatic roof vents are a greenhouse game changer. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of airflow into the greenhouse until the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of wax that expands with heat and contracts when it cools.

These roof vents are designed to work wihtout electricity. This is an excellent advantage to your greenhouse as your plants are less liklely to overheat on a sudden hot summer day as the roof vents open automatically as temperature warms for air circulation and heat relief. In turn it even closes when the temperature cools.

Is the site we’ve chosen the best location?

You may have what you think is the perfect place for your greenhouse, but you may want a second option. If we have reservations about your choice we can explain why and suggest alternative locations.

Who is in charge of checking zoning regulations, getting permits, and putting in a foundation?

Though The Carriage Shed does supply a foundation plan and structural prints if needed, the customer is responsible for all site work and foundation needs before the building can be delivered. They are also responsible for any post set up landscaping or finished grading. We suggest contacting your local town office for information regarding permits and zoning regulations.
