Enclosed Gazebo FAQs

One of The Carriage Shed’s Enclosed Gazebos would be an excellent addition to any backyard.

However, you may have some questions. This FAQ section lists some of the common questions people have.

Ask us about your ideas for your own backyard gazebo. We can answer your questions and help you set up one that is perfect for you.

What size enclosed gazebo do I need?

The size you choose should be relative to the space you have or make available for the structure. Measure the area in which you want the structure for size accuracy. Determine how many people you would like to accommodate. For example, a 12-foot octagon sits up to 8 people comfortably.

We will gladly review gazebo sizes and suggest layouts that consider your desires and a gazebo well suited to your backyard.

I do not see a gazebo size or type that I am looking for. Do you have addtional options?

Yes.

At The Carriage Shed, we can create any size gazebo structure to meet your outdoor dreams.

Please contact us directly to get started!

Do I need a permit?

Permits depend on your local town code and the size of your structure.

Usually, smaller gazebos, pavilions, or pergolas do not require a permit under certain square footage. Your local codes can be found online or from your local municipality.

Some jurisdictions may require property line setbacks for the structure. We can provide structural drawings to accommodate your local requirements.

What about leveling and preparing the site?

Many times hard pack gravel can do wonders to help level off the area. Our gazebos require the same site prep as our sheds. Check out our site prep page for more information.
