Our building spotlight is a 24’x40’x9’4” High Ceiling Prefab Garage with loft. This garage was intended to hold and protect all of the antique cars this customer owns, and the loft will serve as storage.
Though it is amazing the creative ways we have seen people use these structures, it is still charming to see a garage be used as a true garage!

For example, the owner of this beautiful garage knew he wanted to keep the classic, rustic, conventional barn look. This involved having large barn style roll doors. While roll doors are without a doubt gorgeous – they do not offer the protection of an overhead garage door. They can allow enough space to let pesky critters in which can wreak havoc on the priceless possessions stored in a garage.
We came up with the idea to not compromise the customers wishes, while still giving the quality that they deserve. This barn was equipped with rough openings for an overhead garage door to be added by the customer, directly behind the beautiful roll doors.
You still get the beauty of the classic barn doors, with the security of an overhead garage door. Robert – the owner at The Carriage Shed – will get as creative as he needs to in order to give the customer not only what they know they want – but also what they don’t know they need.
